... for the first time in like 8 years... i was sooo excited to be going back to school but it starts tomorrow and now i'm just freaked about all the upcoming stress. ugh, is it really worth it.

It might not be stressful. I try to give my students only as much work as they can do IN class or in the 5 min before class, b/c God knows they don't do sh*t at home if I assign it...

Thanks I'm more like, am i allowed to submit homework typed, on a spreadsheet, or do i have to handwrite it?? I type everything these days so my handwriting is terrible! it's silly... but in class i'll be using a notebook. No way i'm carrying my laptop everywhere.

im sure most teachers accept typed work - they prob prefer it! I wouldnt bring a lap top just because i cant type on those keyboards.. i start typing and somehow i press something and i look up and im typing at the top of the page... it drives me nuts.

that happens to me a lot - it's a cross between hitting the touch pad and the alt key for me. and my laptop is pretty small so the normal key aren't where they should be - it's taken me a while but i'm startig to get used to it

thanks, to you too! wow, you are doing full time and teaching? I would love to do that and get it over with quicker, but no way I could with my job. I tried to get the really major wedding stuff done before school started - anything left is important, but not a huge deal to me.
