Doing our menu last night...

I realized what a Bridezilla I must have sounded like and asked FH if this is what I've been sounding like the past 2 months!

We were talking with our BM about the cake and my exact comment was:

' I don't want white frosting, it needs to be ivory, not tiered but a stacked cake, and I don't want to see a plastic bride and groom on top of the cake, I have my own cake topper, but I don't want it displayed on the cake, but rather displayed on the cake table, because it won't look right with the flowers my florist is using to decorate the cake'

It was like an out of body experience, I heard myself as if I was an outside party listening in on the conversation. FH's response to the BM was... 'you don't live with her...'

I was more embarrased then anything else!

It happens! My FH is always teasing me!
I had a BM ask me if i was in the business because I asked all the 'right 'questions!!!

Ok then, you want what you want!!!!
And that's all there is to it.
U are paying for it so why shouldn't you get what you want????

It was just surreal sitting there in the BM's office. Like I said, it just felt like an out of body experience and I was hearing myself the way an outsider would hear it, and it just mortified me! Like.... who is this person I've become!!!

Seriously, I am sure you are paying a lot for your wedding. You deserve to have things the way you want them!

IMO, you sound just like any other bride who is paying a fortune on a 1 day affair and wants everything to be just so!
