Doing your own video editing...sonicstef
Yesterday, I promised that I would find out how to possibly input video footage from a VCR or DVD to the computer, and then edit using Sonic Foundy Video Factory.
Well, my hubby said that you would need some kind of video input from the VCR to the computer b/c the DV camera uses firewire, but a VCR would only have RCA outputs. So, he thinks you'd have to get a special video capture card for the computer. They range from $100-300 for the card.
But, he also stipulated that you'd probably need a pretty fast PC. Hope this helps...
