So I just read the email about the company where you can basically rent really expensive jewelry for the wedding night.
I don't know about you guys, but I feel I would panic all night for just in case I lost or ruined it!!
For anyone who doesn't know, I all ready am on E-ring #2 (exact duplicate) as my original was lost at work. Most likely when removing my gloves after working in the laboratory.
Do you plan on buying special Wedding day jewelry? Borrowing? Using something you have? or what I never though until today, Renting?
I'm probably going to buy something. Not tooo expensive, but nice and something I will wear again. My FH is not one to buy me jewelry so I have to make this one count

I'll probably buy something...nothing too expensive though since I'll probably only wear it once. If I'm spending $$$ on jewelry I'd rather it be on something I'll wear forever (like my wedding band!)

The prices seemed pretty expensive to me. If I'm going to spend over $200 on jewelry I would be buying a piece that I can wear again. I don't plan on spending a lot for my DOJ.

I'm wearing my Mother's pearls, so $0 there.
My earrings and bracelet are from Macy's and I paid $50 for each of them.
I don't see why I would spend thousands to rent something when I spent $100 to have things I can keep for the rest of my life.

I already have my DOJ which I bought from a Lia Sophia party that my friend was hosting, but I was thinking about checking out the LIW Jewelry thing just to check it out

i checked it out too, but i thought it was kinda steep for something that you wont get to keep. i am getting crystal earrings and a bracelet either from thomas knoell or swarovski or some other website. i know TK's kinda up there too, so i am not sure yet.

Re: DOJ? Based on email from LIW
i dont believe in renting. no1 knows if your jewelry is real or fake unless they get reallllllllly close and know what their sheit lol.. so if u spend 6k or $60 on a bracelet, i feel u will get the same effect in pix.
oh and, if u loose it... ohwell. u loose 6k,u better RUN lol
i sure as heck dont neeed that stress.

That's so cute... I wish I could do something like that. I have my grandmothers pearls, but they are a bit tacky...
