I think it depends on the embellishment on your dress and the neckline.

I haven't found the dress yet, but I am def wearing a bracelet

depending on the top if I wear a necklace i am going to wear simple diamond studs,

if no necklace, then huge statement earrings.

I updated with pics. I think I made a decision regarding earrings and necklace but not bracelet (yet)

The first pic was the original set that I picked out.
The second is the new earrings with a necklace that was my grandmothers.
The third is the new earrings with another of my late grandmother's necklaces which I think is my choice because it's so minimal that with a strapless ballgown it won't be overdone.
The fourth pic is the bodice of the gown, the skirt part is organza and pretty plain (dress is custom made)

Opinions are welcome! Thanks ladies for your point of views, they really have helped me look at things from different perspectives!

I like option three.... because it is sentimental but the first necklace looks so pretty too.

FH just told me he's thrilled that I'm leaning towards wearing one thing from my grandmother and I pointed out that I'm already wearing her garter (so long as my mom finds it again) and the garter that she bought for me years ago for whenever I got married (she was a shopper) and I said 'it really doesn't make a difference to me to wear her jewelry on my wedding day' and he was like 'How can you say that???' and I said because I wear her jewelry almost every day of my life and 90% of my jewelery is made up of things from her. She'd want me to look nice not tacky just to wear something borrowed! We had this conversation at my sweet sixteen and at prom.

Honestly I think the sentimental thing for me is the garters and the fact that my mom (as she cleans out my grandparents place preparing to sell) keeps finding things that she bought for me...invites (everything from engagement and bridal shower, which we didn't use), baby blankets for both genders, the garter, precious moments, stuff like that. That's what's such a nice gift even years after she's gone.

I say no necklace...just do earrings and bracelet...your dress has a lot going on in the bodice and will be more than enough that you can lose the necklace.... love the dress!!!!

I like the first set in your pics. But I also think you may not need a necklace at all. It's up to you.

I like when brides wear all 3 actually. Sometimes it depends on the dress... but for the most part a necklace looks great on almost ANY dress... it all depends on the necklace.

I like the first set the best. But the third set has sentimental value and may look better with your dress.

I def think you shuold wear a necklace and earrings and a bracelet.
