Domestic Help

Ok, Last week I posted that we were interviewing housekeepers.My Friend/neighbor suggested her woman. She quoted me $100/week for our 1 bedroom , 1 bath apartment for 3 hours... She said b/c of the zip code we live in she charges more. we live in an apartment in an expensive zip code. She waled around complimenting all my furniture, my paintings, bags, even our puppies... Is that normal? Her pay scale? Or do you think she's giving me this price b/c she thinks I'll pay it...

Thats a lot of money! We have a cleaning lady that comes once every 2 weeks to do bathrooms (2), kitchen, vacuum, dust, and a few other things. We have a 2 story house with 9 rooms and a finished basement. She only charges us $60.

$100 for an apartment is way too much! Keep looking!

I have an apartment also and a team of 2-3 people come every 2-weeks. They do everything, change sheets, windows, fridge, stove and everything else. They are in and out in an hour and charge me $70.

I don't know where you live, but I can def. Recommend them to you. Their English is not great, but they are trust worthy and do an amazing job.

The woman my boss uses comes for 5 hours and they pay her $100. Your definately being ripped off.

Thanks ,I thought so, but FH wa like no that's what they must get paid,, (I was like $33.00/ hour, that's more then some of my friends make & they have their masters)...



I thought somthing was weird when she said, aww cute dog, expensive. How much did you pay?

Way over priced. We have a 4 bed 2 bath house and we pay $70 every two weeks. She even changes linens and does my laundry folds it and puts it away!
