Don or anyone else who knows anything about portable DVD players?

I want to get a portable DVD player for my DH for his 30th bday. Any recommendations? What should I look for?

TIA

from boosh

Basically what they want is good picture quality, good battery life and is not too heavy or bulky

she got me the panasonic, which is excellent

just a side note...my brother's GF had gotten him one, but he exchanged it for a laptop, which plays DVDs he said it was not a significant price difference

ETA: nevermind just called brother and asked him, he does not know the value of a dollar and said it was a 350 difference

question--what do you do with it? When do you use it, I mean. I saw man with one on the train, but when else do you have the opportunity to use it?

I bought one for DH for his bday. He picked it out cuz I was nervous about getting 'the best' one. Its a 7 inch insignia from Best Buy. The picture and quality is great. We use it @ night sometimes cuz we dont have a DVD player in bedroom, last weekend we went to Mohegan Sun and used it in the car, and we plan on hopefully using it on the plane when we go to Florida. He LOVES it.

it works well for me because we only have one TV, so if boosh is watching something that does not interest me, I can stay in the living room and watch a DVD
