Donating a Car, which organizations would you suggest?
So as you know I got a new(er) car this weekend. The question now is what to do w/ my old car. It's a '99 Maxima w/ a ton (almost 200k) miles. It's not worth the hassel of privatly selling it. We were thinking of donating it, just don't know where. With the high miles I wasn't sure if a charity would even take it, so I was thinking of a fire dept. so they can practice putting out a car fire, but it makes me sad to think I'll be sending Maxi to a firey dealth. So can you suggest a charity that might need, & appreciate her?

My parents and FH both donated their cars to the salvation army in December. Here

I donated my old Accord to Songs of Love. they help raise money for sick kids. they were great to work with.
