donating hair

anyone know where you can donate hair that has been HIGHLIGHTED? im seeing some restrictions on different charities..... thanks

I don't think you can donate hair that has been highlighted. It has something to do with the treatment once the hair donated.

Check with Locks of Love but I don't think you can donate highlighted hair

I believe that Pantene's Great Lengths campaign will accept it. Check their site.
I donated my ponytail last summer, on my birthday I remember that they'd accept dyed hair, so they just may take highlighted hair!

I donated my hair that had highlights in it. When I did it the only restriction was no white hair because White hair wont hold color very well.

I donated to Locks of Loves- it was such a good feeling when i did it i decided to do it again.

I donated to Pantene's Great Lengths and had dyed hair that def had some grown out highlights in it (covered up with the hair dye of course)! Go to any salon to get your hair chopped off and just have them make braids or ponies and snip! Then put it in a plastic baggie and send it away...

I donated to Locks of Love last summer!!! Its so great that you are doing this! Yes Pantene Promise..you only have to do 8 inches versus 10 as well.

I am growing out my hair for the wedding ...but right after that I am donating it again!!! It is the best feeling in the world!
