Donating wedding dress?

Does any past or present bride have any information about donating a dress? I love my dress but will never wear it again and would love to make someone else as happy as i was and feel as beautiful as i did. I read about a place in Manhattan that you could donate your dress to and they would sell it and the profit went to breast cancer research, however i cant find any info or remember the name.

Does anyone have any contact information on dress donations or know if i have to get it cleaned first?

Has anyone donated their dresses? what have your experiences been?
