How much do you think is a proper donation for 150 guests??

Re: Donation
I didn't pick anything. I think a donation favor should be treated in the same way as a tangible favor. So, if you would have been spending about $1 per favor, then do $150. $2 a favor, then $300 and so on.
It really depends on what you have budgeted for it.
Regardless, while $1 a favor might not open up a lot of options for a tangible favor, a $150 donation toward a cause you are passionate about could mean a lot to that organization, know what I mean?

ITA...Give what you think is appropriate or what you can afford...we're donating in lieu of favors too and I just think its a good cause and the charity will be happy to receive anything. you are wiling to donate to them.

Re: Donation
i chose $3 per person ...
but ultimately, it's up to wahtever you feel comfortable giving. you can donate whatever you want - it doesn't have to work out to a certain amount per person.
The little cards you give people at the reception shouldn't say how much was actually donated so they'll never know

I'd say somewhere between $300 and $450. Maybe $400

Re: Donation
Depends how much you have in your budget. I am doing the same thing as a favor - I am going to see how much I have left in the budget. I would like to do 500 for 150 guests, but I have a feeling I may have to go lower....

Re: Donation
I say it depends. Are you going to do something along with the donation? Like a cookie or something to represent the donation? If so, then $1 each. If not, $2 each.
