donation and place card help

Hey ladies... so I am ordering these off of Etsy but I have not yet sent out my invites. Do you think I should just buy a very large amount? Or should I wait to see how many people are coming? Also, what about place cards, I wanted to order these and get the calligraphy on them, is this something that has to wait until the very end?

I think the best thing is order the number of people invited for the donation card but for the placecards, I think you'll have to wait until your RSVP's are in.
