How many of you are considering doing a donation instead of a favor at the wedding. At first I didn't really like the idea bc I feel like people expect an actual favor.....but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. I can't tell you how many weddings I went to and threw the favor out! Its so much junk. Is anyone else thinking about doing a donation? And if you are...what are you donating to?
I have been debating this. I would love to do a donation to melanoma since my uncle passed away from it in feb. I am still deciding.
I was thinking of doing breast cancer. My mom is a survivor and we have 2 family friends who have passed away. And I was thinking we can put little cards on the table saying that we donated to breast cancer with ribbons attached for each person.
We are doing donations to the national Ms society, pics of what they will look like are in my album.
we are defanitly doin a donation! we havent decided yet, but most likely to a smaller foundation around here.
We actually jumped the gun and got wine stoppers like 6 months ago.. but we are also going to have a basket of live strong bracelets and on it will say that we donated XX amount of money to the organization. Plus it matches our colors- I like the idea!

We're doing a donation as well. We are donatine to the American Heart Association in memory of my mom who passed away six years ago from a heart attack.
Does anyone know where I can look for poems or sayings for the scrolls?
