Donation Card wording--what do you think?

FH and I decided in addition to our favors, we are going to make a donation as well.
not sure how we're going to display this yet but what do you think of the wording?

any suggestions? i dont want it to seem too morbid. it really isnt a memory thing. just a donation we want to make in her honor and for our guests.

Do you want to add...'in, lieu of traditional favors...'
that way they know its a replacement for a favor. Unless you are giving favors out.

I think it's great!! Here's what we are using...But I got it from Colleen.(don't remember her liw name)

In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, we have made a donation to _____ in your honor and in loving memory of the bride's mother (name here),

We feel the greatest gift is one that can help others.

Thank you for sharing in our special day!

we're giving out regular favors too (cupcakes)
so the wording is a little tricky.

i love the proverb.
