Donation Favor Wording

In lieu of a favor we are contributing $$$ to my cousins' charity (who passed away this year).

Can anyone please help with wording and suggestions on how I can tell guests we have done this???

In lieu of traditional favors, a donation has been made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Just for background, there are several survivors that will be at our wedding including FH mother and aunt. We are attaching pink ribbon pins to all the donation favor cards!
