Donation Favor Wording?

I know I have asked before but I still feel like something is missing. We are doing a donation to the American Heart Association and tying cards with the info to seed packets. I would like it not to be too wordy as it has to fit on a piece of paper which is business card sized.

The donation is in the name of FH's mom and I would like to say something regarding the seeds.

I was going to start with in lieu of favors, but then a friend pointed out that the seeds are sort of favors. Can I start out, 'In lieu of traditional favors'?

we are doing this too and my mom went out and bought favors soooo i think im going to word that card starting with: In honor of your presence here tonight we have made a donation ....... or To thank you for sharing our special day we have made a donation in your honor......

That sounds good. I just want to add more about the fact that the donation is in the name of FH's mom and something about planting the seeds in her memory.
