Does anyone have an example of what they wrote on the scroll (or in a frame) to tell your guests you were giving donation favors?

I did scrolls in memory of our grandparents. To Heart Association and Cancer Society. I did them my self with home PC. Would you like me to send you a copy???

I had mine printed on pink postcards with white script from Vistaprint-they cfame out beautiful. This is what we wrote:

In lei of favors we have made donations in honor of those who are no longer with us but have touched our lives. They have taught us what a happy long marriage means and how to be loving parents, Aunts, grandparents and friends. For this they will always live on in our hearts.

we donated to the lance armstrong cancer fund....
we ordered a yellow ' livestrong' bracelet for each guest, and tied a card to it that said ' to honor our loved ones affected by cancer, a donation has been made to the lance armstrong cancer fund' and it had our names and the wedding date---- short and sweet.
BTW- i have to tell you, it was a hit! and a lot of our guests are still wearing the bracelets over a year later! so it was definitely worth it!

That is a nice idea

We ordered Live Strong bracelets and bracelets from another charity. On the outside of each box I put a label that says:

A Donation has been made to
The Organization
In Loving Memory of
My Dad's Name OR his dad's name

To our friends and family
with much thought and consideration
we have chosen a special way to say thank you
for sharing our wedding day with us.
In lieu of a traditional favor
we have made a donation to the
Huntington's Disease Society of America
in memory of **** ***** ******
we truly appreciate your being part of our special day
