Option #1 has 4 cards in little stand with the following information at each table:
To Our Family& Friends
With much thought and consideration, we have chosen a special way to say “Thank You” for sharing our wedding day with us. In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, we have made donations to:
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center & Response Hotline of Suffolk County & American Forests
Your presence is truly appreciated on our wedding day.
Option #2 incorporates this into the placecard. So on the outside list the name and table number and then the placecard would have to be opened to read the same.
I am leaning towards Option #1 because it is displayed and I am afraid people might miss the inside of the place card.
Thoughts?

Re: Donation Favors
I like the placecard idea but I agree, guests might not open it to see it. If you put them in frames around the tables, guests will def see them

Re: Donation Favors
I agree with you, option 1 is better. I would never think to open up a placecard to see if anything was written on the inside, so I'm sure your guests, especially if they've had a drink or two, won't either.

Re: Donation Favors
i think that the donation favors are such a nice idea. i like #1 because you would hate that your guests wouldn't see it if it's inside the cards. JMO. but really nice idea :o)
