I'm looking to do donations as favors for our wedding.

FH is a NYC Fireman. We're donating to 9-11 Widows and Orphans.

Should have been more specific :)
My question is, once you have selected a charity and made the donation, how do you let your guests know? Are you doing donation cards to your guests, chocolate favors with a tag, etc.

I'm doing truffles, and tied in the ribbon of the truffle box will be a scroll that talks about our charity and donation.

We're donating to ACS - American Cancer Society. I'm going to put up a framed 8x10 explanation and a bowl or basket of lavender ribbons - the color for cancer awareness. It just so happens the lavender matches my colors!

We were thinking about doing a donation. FH's cousin passed away a few years ago of cancer. Before she passed her poetry book was published. Her family started a foundation that creates memories of joy for children batting cancer and grant second wishes for children with a recurrence of cancer.
