donation favors

So in leui of tradtional favors, we are doing donation favors. We are donating to 2 charities.

1. The Multilple Sclerosis foundation.
In honor of my older brother who suffers from the disease.

2. My little cousins Scholarship fund.
He passed away 6 1/2 years ago at the age of 16 from Duchenne Muscular Dystropy. Every year my family has a golf outting/dinner/raffle auction and they donate 2 scholarships to Islip High School in his honor, one for a senior going to college for culinary arts and the other for music.

Both of these are very dear to my heart.

My questions is this: for those doing the donation favor are you making a card for each place setting?

I was debating on making a sign in an 8x10 frame with the ' in leui of tradational favors....' and having their pictures on it and placing it next to the table setting cards when they first walk into the reception room.

My other options was placing a smaller 5x7 frame with the same idea and each table.

What do you ladies think of this idea instead of placing a card at each place setting?

My friend recently got married and also made a donation to an organization. She had cards on every place settings. I'm not sure who she used but you can get them from Vistraprint! Maybe you can do every other place setting?? HTH!

HI - we are also doing donations as favors for two charities. I actually contacted both of the charities and they told me what to do and they told me that they would also send me the donation cards with our names on it. We are doing one for the 'Garden of Dreams' which is by MSG and the Rangers and since FH loves the rangers and I told the women that they said they would put the Rangers logo on our donation cards. So maybe give The Multiple Sclerosis foundation a call and see if they can send your some with your names on them!

We are placing cards on the tables for sure, so everyone knows! It's a great idea!
