Hi Everyone, the FH and I have decided to forego the typical favor and do a donation. I am a teacher and would like to do some sort of donation towards education, but I don't know what charity I can send it to. Any ideas?
TIA!
Also, I'd like a charity where they send you something to put on each table stating that a donation was made.
we donated to st judes, they sent us bookmarks which we gave to everyone with our information on it and also information explaining what we did in lieu of favors.

What about a donation to a scholarship fund or something? As a teacher that might be nice... I don't know of any off the top of my head but I am sure you can find something...

I would look into - http://www.donorschoose.org/
My mom is a principal and uses this site regularly to fund projects for her school.
Basically, you get to fund a specific project of your choice for a low income school.
