Donation or Favor

Donation or Favor

So yesterday I went to a bridal shower for a friend and was sitting with our sorority sisters. Most of us are engaged or recently married.

So many of them are doing donations and I had planned on doing favors, now im curious about what peope would prefer to see when they go to a wedding. Just curious

I voted for donation just because I feel that unless you are giving a really unique favor that people will genuinely use, its better to spend that money on a charity.

we want to do a donation...it is very important to us...i also, however, wanted to do a small favor...something edible...cupcakes, mini-pies...something...so we shall see...

I think a donation is a great idea, if there is something that is dear to FH and your heart! I would do a small favor (candy or maybe a cd) with the note on the table about the favor.

we are doing a favor.
we already make donations a couple a times a year anyway.

dont need a wedding to do it.

imo - i like the idea of a small favor and donation, like a few chocolates and the donation would be perfect. i just think that people will never use what i give them, so at least they get something to eat for the car ride home.
