Donations

Hey Girls -

Thought I would share what good things I am doing for others on my wedding day. I know that many of us are giving donations to our favorite organizations in lieu of a favor. I have decided to give to Gilda's Club in lieu of our favor. So many people in my family have been effected by cancer and Gilda's Club offers families a support system for everyone in the family.

I am also donating extra food from my wedding to a local food pantry, Island Harvest. We all know that there is going to be too much food for everyone to eat!! They are located in Mineola. I am working with Crest Hollow about pick-up details.

Anyone else sharing their great fortune with more needy people?

Good for your. I worked with Island Harvest to donate canned and boxed goods from my father's house after he passed away this year.

How does it work for donating the left over food from the wedding? Do they pick it up at the end of the night?

we donated to the cancer society, heart foundation and the policeman's widows & childrens fund

That is an AWESOME idea. Please let us know how you are working out the Island Harvest donation. I would love to do that too!!!
