We wanted to donate to a charity also. Do you know if all charities provide some kind of favors?

We are donating through the American Cancer Society. They provide you with the scrolls.

We are donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They give you a choice of scroll, placecard or bookmark.

I wanted to post my idea and get your feedback....

Instead of making a donation and getting just the scroll. How about putting the placecard text (after printing it out on very nice paper at kinko's or something) and putting it in a nice frame. That way ppl are walking away with something and we still donated?

What do you think?

That's exactly what we're going to do! I copied the wording from the website, tweaked it a bit and put it on nice card to put in place card frames.
