I'm thinking of doing a donation to breast cancer as a favor. How do I go about doing this?

well if you choose a specific breast cancer chairty (like Komen) you can go on their website and look around for a wedding donations page. Most big organizations will have things you can use, like a picture for donation cards, and I've seen some even print out scrolls for you! HTH!

My mom did a donation to Susan G. Komen for my bridal shower since my FMIL is going through treatments right now. She did it on the website and was in contact with them over the phone.
They sent print-outs that my mom put on the table for the guests to see, and she also printed up her own cards to insert in the cookies she made.
I will probably do another donation to the ACS for my wedding and then I will make lavender ribbons for my guests to take in honor of all cancers.

i am also doing donations as a favor. if you go the charities website they usually have a wedding or donation link. i am doing the ASPCA and they are sending me place cards for the guests

that's a great idea. We are doing MADD because i lost my close friend to a DD. You can see what we did for our e-party in my album. I also have little scrolls that i made for another party I am having. FM withy our email address & i can send you those if you would like

I LOVE donation favors. We are going to donate to a foundation that helps fund local schools for kids with autism.
I plan on DIYing the cards, and leaving then on everyones place setting. Maybe attaching an autism awareness pin/magnet. Have some time to think about it lol

thanks!! I work with kids with autism & everyone knows how passionate I am (and have gotten FH to be!) about awareness, so when we talked about favors, it just seemed right!
Maybe you can get little pink ribbon pins or something. If you buy in bulk you may be able to get a discounted rate. HTH!

We did donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Autism Speaks (to honor our godchildren)
We made rice krispie treat hearts covered in white chocolate and sprinkles and I attached a sticker on the back thanking everyone and letting them know about the donations.
We also had a photobooth

We're doing a donation to wounded warrior project which is for soldiers who get severely wounded, and I'm just making up cards to put at each place setting with chocolate medallion military 'coins' that i'm making (i found molds on ebay, and i make candy all the time)

were donating to make a wish since they gave fh brother a computer before he passed away ...
they give us a paper to give out but im not sure if i completely love it its 11x8 a standard size paper .. seems a little big / bulky to me .. maybe i can shrink it down or something ..
