FH and I are thinking about doing donations as favors but a few questions:
- How do you go about doing that with the organizatoin? - How much do you give? - Do you donate in each guests name? - What else can you give iwth the donation so that the guest has a related take away?

you decide how much youwant to give. I think we are going to do $250... not a ton, but no one will know... plus we are using frames for table settings so that people have something to take home.
Go on the charity's website or call them and ask the process.
We are doing Make A wish - they emailed me the wording for the scrolls and and I just need to send them a check...

I made a donation to the American Cancer Society, and through the donation I bought scrolls which I distributed to each guest. The scrolls had a nice description of the reason why chose to donate and in whose name the donation was made. See my review for details.

1- Go directly to their website A lot of charity websites have 'donations as favors' link to click on 2- Depends on what you can give. Base it off of how much you'd normally spend on favors 3- We are not doing per guests but under our Wedding Name 4- We will be doing candy inside a box with the donation scroll wrapped with the ribbon
