My fiance and I are considering donating to two separate foundations instead of favors. Does anyone know what an appropriate amount to donate is?

whatever you're able to give, there is no right or wrong amount, we're doing about $3 pp

there is no actual appropriate cost....donate what you can and feels right for you .. I donated to St Jude

We donated $4.00 per person, but I agree with all of the other ladies, whatever you can afford is more than enough. It's not the amount that matters it's your thoughtfulness and generosity.
