Done with boards! What do with wedding stuff??

Hey guys- I'm done with my boards and I can FINALLY start to spend a little time on wedding stuff until I start my cardiology rotation.

STD can finally stand for save the date rather than something I have to give an antibiotic for.

Anyways I have no idea wear I am supposed to be in terms of the wedding. I know I dont have a wedding dress, bridesmaid's dresses, tuxes, color scheme, flowers (I booked the florist), favors, honeymoon, decorations, invitations, basically nothing but the reception, florist, dj and photography.

Can any of you more advanced brides help me out reminding me what else I need to do and tell me what I should have had done by now?

I'd start choosing your colors and looking for your gown at this point.

Also, do you have an officiant?

Hmmm....I have no idea what I want from a theme. I was thinking maybe a color scheme of green, white and black and maybe it seem very garden-y. Do you all think that would look nice at the Harbor Club?

Also I have no idea how I'm going to do the wedding dress. I mean Im in Florida until 2 weeks before the wedding. So imagine I'll buy a dress here, but then how do I get it to NY? My bridesmaids really want to take me out to look for dresses now, but how long do I have until I have to buy one?

Those are BEAUTIFUL colors! My friend did those colors back in June and they were really incredible! That would look terrific at the Harbor Club. With your dress, you might want to start looking now and ordering soon. I've heard it can take up to 8 months or even more for some dresses to come in! Obviously you shouldn't settle for something, but I'd definitely start looking now. You might have to buy your dress in Florida and have it shipped. With two weeks until the wedding, you can have it shipped to NY and have it pressed before the wedding.
