Donna's Wedding Planning Might Have Come to a Screeching Halt.

She said they don't think they can save enough money until next August. Thought I would explain, in case you don't hear any wedding news for awhile. Blessings to each of you!!!!! Mary MOB

Mary - things always work out and I am sure they will for Donna. I think staying positive is key and I hope she will do that. She is lucky to have a mom who is so excited about her wedding!

Awww ... I'm sorry!! We had to delay our wedding at first too, and looking back, I am so happy that we did. It gave us some time to catch up on some other credit card bills..I'm still stressed with the budget now, but it could have been way worse. Everything will fall into place for them and everything happens for a reason!! Keep your chin up!

do what we do a little at a time. there would be nooooooooooo way in heck we could pay for everything at once. Even though we do save for the wedding and what not it's just so hard to be ahead of the game.

oh mary, im so sorry, i know you were so excited about Donna's wedding. maybe they can just scale things down a bit, or pay off little by little, thats what me and FH are doing. the only thing we arent paying for is my dress, and its difficult, but we are (somehow) doing it....i really hope that everything works out..we really like having you on our board!!!

Aww we actually needed to wait longer in order to save up too. We were planning on October of 2008, but we realized we'd be very stressed with trying to save by then, and now i'm SOOO happy we are waiting til next August. Things always work out for the best!!! I'm sure they will work out for your daughter and her fh

Good morning, sweet girls, and thank you for your encouraging words. We appreciate it!!! Donna has two appts. scheduled for Sat., for the Eden and for Heritage Hotel, which seems cheaper. But she didn't know if she would keep them, based on the fact that they might not be able to save all their money by next Aug. Thanks again!!!! Mary MOB

Mary, I know things will work out. If you would like I can help donna come up with a budget. I'm super good with those things and can figure out what she needs/doesnt need or can do cheaper.

She was planning on getting married in PA right?
