Donna...the patch

Hey Donna...just wanted to tell you that I am there...right now...right along with you.
Today is day two for me two without cigarettes...

I have been smoking since I was about 16 and did quit once using the patch for a few months...but was out drinking one night, bought a pack and it was all over from there.

I feel the same as you ....without the anxiety. I think the patch helps me with that...it actually makes me feel calm...but the thought of not being able to have a cigarette can actually make me cry...haha. Sounds funny to anyone who has never smoked...but its true.

Keep me posted and let me know how you are doing.

Tina, i'm so happy you're quitting, Guy quit and hasn't had one since NYE, and although he's had his bouts being a miserable f%^&, he's getting better!! You'll do it and you'll feel so much better!!! xoxoxxoxoxo

FH used to smoke.(actually before we started dating) he said that he got sick and hated to smoke when he was sick so he stopped for about a week while he was sick. Than he decided since he didnt smoke for a week to just not start up again ... and he didnt! he said it was really hard at first but got easier as time went on ... and now it has been seven years since he has had his last cingarette. he doesnt want one ever again ... although he still dreams that he smokes!

I gave up Soda 4 or 5 years ago for New Years. Haven't had a sip since. It was the hardest thing. I can't even imagine how hard it is to quit smoking. You go girls!

A fear of mine with quitting is that I am going to begin to overeat!!! LIke right now I feel like snacking but think I am going to just go to bed. Tomorrow is day Three!!
