I feel like its been so long since I've done any planning that I have no idea where to start!
I told FH that we really need to talk budgeting and wedding stuff tonight or this weekend because sooo much has changed since we first got engaged, but seriously, I have no idea what I should be focusing on, I practically forgot all the ideas I used to have!!
I guess its time to start over, haha!

I think you guys are right to start with the budget. You should also hash out a temporary guest list so you have a rough idea of how many guests you are inviting. Once you have those numbers, look for a hall. A lot of ideas should stem from the feel of the hall.

This should make the planning even more exciting since you are starting fresh. Starting with the budget is always the most important step.

Well we have our original budget, from last year! So much has changed!!
We have our hall and our Dj, and our theme. I did so much half-assed planning while I was in Greenland but I haven't touched a thing since like April, and now that we may have to change the date from May to September, I don't know what to do!
There are so many little details and even the littlest things cost so much money, its crazy!!

what kind of feel does the hall have. Is it modern? Rustic? Opulent? Do you want the theme to be influenced by the season? If you don't, you can still go in the direction you were planning.
The money thing, I can't help you with because my boat is sinking fast too.

I'm getting married at Giorgio's and we really wanted to have a vineyard wedding. So I actually think my colors now will work beter in September (wine and champagne), but I haven't planned out what should be planned, picked out and paid for first

I'm a procrastinator too, I know how you feel! Just take it one piece at a time. Maybe start looking at photographers first, since they book up quick and can't do more than one wedding at a time. I use the Knot checklist and it helps me stay on track. LIW has one too!

Photography has been the worst!!! We started looking in April and we crossed every person off our list and the one we loved was out of our price range! Bummer... I'm now starting up another list with some possibilities, but you're right, those fill up fast and they're most important to us.
