Would you believe that even after ordering 200 invitations we do not have enough? I am on the verge of throwing up and crying at the same time. We knew his parents were planning are inviting a lot of people but this is out of control. Our freaking hall only holds 400 and so far if everyone saws with a guest I think we will have 418. I am in such disbelief. Thanks for letting me vent girls!

WOW!! That is alot of guests. Who is FH family inviting? Do they even know all these people. Why don't you cut down your list. I am sure their is plenty of people to cut.

we also did not have enough invitations, even after i ordered an extra 25 on top of the 100 that everyone had said would be more than enough. and most of the extra invitations were going out to people who were not even going to come. my mom decided we needed to send some to all our relatives in italy who are not even coming. and my reply date is may 4th and my fmil just called today to ask if i had one more invitation for someone she had forgotten to invite. the invitations are the most important part, and for some reason, other family members refuse to do things the right way, and they wait until the last minute to decide who they want to invite. it is sooooooo frustrating. basically what we ended up doing was consolidating some invitations. For example, we just put 'and family' on some that needed to have separate invites, just so that we would have enough. i feel your pain!

AWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! That really stinks!!! You should have demanded a list before you ordered! Then you can veto who they are inviting!

Thanks I actually already consolidated some of them. Best man not even getting an invite. We still have to order more for Italy anyway but these need to go out.

If you had a rsvp of 5/15 I could send you probably a few or my rsvp cinderella invites except without the envelopes....

omg....i know how you feel, but on a much smaller scale(way over 200)....FILs made us invite all these people...and i mean insisted that they all get invited...and none of them are coming...and guess what??? now i need more invites for people actually coming and i don't have them....i have to call my vendor today....all because we had to invite people who aren't even going to come...some of them are out of the country and never received their invites at their US address....but we had to invite them!!! grr. sometimes i think parents think that they need to invite people out of courtesy and don't take into account that if they don't come they have wasted all those invites that could've gone out to people we (grooms and brides) actually know and want there who will come.
