Dont know if anyone cares but...
I went to a party at marina del ray last night... the place is gorgeous, but the service was horrible ... here are some things I was not happy about that maybe you can try to make sure isnt an issue for your guests -
One I was seated right near an exit where everyone kept on going outside to smoke... the door locked automatically behind them so they had to stick something in the door to keep it open... needless to say the whole table WAS FREEZING all night and the smell of cigars was making me sick!
We had to repeatedly hunt down waiters to refil the pitchers of soda and water on the table, and the bartender was never at the bar!!! ( and I know b/c he was set up right next to our table) you had to hunt him down as well if you wanted any kind of liquor!! He was there maybe 20 mins the whole evening. It was also VERY unprofessional that the bar wasnt set up until AFTER everyone was in the room. But I do have to say my food was yummy... but FH's steak was extra crispy![]()
Also the dj they had was supposed to be really great... well I didnt see it... 70% of the room was sitting down all night and she had 2 dj's and an mc... meanwhile they sat backed there and goofed around.. the mc hardly talked.. he saw most the guests didnt like the music played and didnt even try to get anyone out of their seats. Everyone looked bored out of their minds![]()
