Hi, I'm new to LI Weddings, and I just wanted to get other brides inputs as to when to register. I'm getting married on May 14th, 2005, and have no clue when to register....any tips?

i would wait 6-8 months before the wedding to register, that way you wouln't have to worry to much about things being discontinued. Good luck to you and welcome to the boards!

Welcome! We registered in Sept for our May 16, 2004 wedding. We could've waited longer though. Thankfully nothing has been discontinued.

That's fine. Oh I forgot to mention that I only went recently (about 2 wks ago) to register for bedding, sheets and towels. Fortunoff suggested that I wait as much as possible to register for that stuff, as those things are seasonal and may be discontinued by the time your shower comes around.
