Don't Know Where To Go For Engagement Party- HELP!
I recently got engaged and my fiance and I are looking to throw a small engagement party. It will most likely be around 40 people. I would really like to have it in a restaurant in Nassau- either Mexican or Italian- option to play my own music (I kind of feel like that may be expecting too much but its worth the shot). I'm really leaning towards Mexican food because our first date we had that and its kind of our thing. Any suggestions?

you might have better luck with italian restaurant.
You can try seventh street cafe, that is gorgeous over there! in garden city and the food is amazing

you can also try Mim's restaurant~ Roslyn and another nassua location, not sure where though but the food is great!

maybe pastavino in mineola? it's only a few years old and pretty small and the food is great!
