Dont laugh -- looking for hypnotist

I lack WILLPOWER. I work in a law firm (not a lawyer, but support staff) and this place stocks FREE pepperidge farm cookies and crackers and has a free frozen yogurt machine!

I had colon surgery in Dec 2001 (I have crohn's disease) and before and after it I was 170. Not great but in hindsight, wow, I looked good. Now I am 220. I can't believe I let myself gain that much. My FH cooks dinner every night and last summer we ate out alot for dinner on weeknights and weekends. Before I met him I didnt eat a big dinner and didn't go out to eat that often. ARGH!
I can do WW and I work out but it's just I get ancy around 3 or 4pm and I find myself going to eat cookies. I can say that today I drank alot of water and haven't eaten any cookies but I've also been really busy.

Anyhoo...I want to get to 170 before the wedding in 4/03 and I think I can do it. But I want to see a hypnotist that can help me with my willpower problem. Does anyone know of one in either lower Westchester or NYC? Thanks!
Mary

It works. One of the big wigs in my company went to one and lost A LOT of weight. I'll see if I can find out who it was. He looks 10 years younger now.

Hypnosis ABSOLUTELY works...if you are accepting of it...it has psychological merits for quitting smoking, losing weight and pain control...but usually thats where the benefits end...

there is a hypnosis center near roosevelt field...its off Old Country Road...I think in the same building where Ruth's Chris is...

I don't know of a hypnotherapist myself, but my brother recently saw one and stopped smoking immediately, so I think it worked!
His is located in the city. Let me know if you'd like the number and I'll ask him for it.

Good luck!

I went to one in Bayside - FM me if you want the contact info. I am not sure where in NYC you are looking.

Personally I was a little uncomfortable (I don't know if it was the process or the guy) but I will say it did work to an extent. The two things I focused on for this ONE session was drinking water and portion control and I can honestly say that I have made improvements in both areas.

Based on my interview and other people I know that went, it can tak 2-6 sessions to get through all the suggestions that need to be done and/or reinforced.

I have read that weight loss, esp for women, is one of the most successful hynoptic suggestions since generally the person truly wants to lose weight.

Good luck
