Don't Sweat the Small Stuff at your wedding!!!

Well, like everyone had said... my wedding went by REALLY quickly and I hardly got to eat!

So many little things weren't right... the centerpieces were put together wrong and we didn't have one piece anyway, my dress had no bustle, no pigs in blankets up in the bridal suite, one of the cake fillings was wrong, they had to scramble last minute to use my toasting flutes (like during the speeches they did this), the DJ didn't play the music when my groom was going down the aisle and he didn't play most of my must play songs and NONE by my fave group and the reason why I met my MOH and BM, my dad had no cash for tips ....

etc. LOTS of tiny things but in the end, we had tons of fun dancing (even my hubby who HATES to dance was dancing!) and hanging out and laughing. It was a great time!!

The matire'd and our attendant were OUTSTANDING too. They really helped a lot.

However... I am sooooooooooo glad that all the stress, , and are over!!! No more weddings ever, and for our 25th anniversary i'll have the 'wedding' I wanted in the first place!

I am soooo glad to hear that even with those minor problems, you still had such an amazing time. I really am excited for the wedding to be over. It's just been a lot of stress and I wanna be married to FH already!!! Ah!

I totally agree with you! We had a fantastic day because I decided that I wasn't going to let anything bother me that day. I prayed for it to be sunny and it was.

My hair wasn't how I wanted it, I didn't love my makeup, my dress was too big on the top, I forgot two of the final payments (oooppsss) I didn't get to see my flowergirls walk down the aisle, we never made it to the cocktail hour but NONE of it mattered or bothered me that day.

I was on cloud 9 and happy with the world.
