I am so mad right now. My jerk of a boss just came in here and asked what I was eating. I told him pretzels and he responded with 'that's not good for you its fattening and full of starch thats not good for the baby.' What the hell? Did I ask for your opinion? I am sensitive as it is about my weight I need this jerk telling me that? I am 5 months and have gained 10lbs and think that's pretty good. Oh and earlier this morning he called me in his office for something stupid and when I went in there it I said that's why you called me in here? And he said 'Pregnant lady needs the exercise'. Am I being sensitive??? UUGGGHH! Sorry for the vent but what a JERK!

OMG thats awful. What a jerk!! Figures its a HE. I would tell him he better stop with the weight jokes. That is harrassment and I have heard of women suing in the past because of their boss saying things like that to them. What an ***!!!

Why some men believe they are free to make these kinds of comments to pregnant subordinates is beyond me!
I had a boss who would say similar offending things in my presence while I was preggo too, like: 'Creating this marketing plan was a difficult labor, and we almost lost the Mother during the delivery.' HOW that statement is an acceptable analogy in a business setting, I will *never* know!
My boss was king of various other remarks as well - he constantly told me that I looked very uncomfortable. Don't tell ME how to feel, jerk!!!
