don't wanna work!

I just don't feel like DOING this anymore! I just want to stay home and NEST!

We painted the nursery this weekend. My husband was the sweetest thing. I didn't help because the smell made me a little nervous it was so strong...we normally paint together. I do the trim and he does the walls. It's usually an annoying project but we end up making the best of it! This time I cleaned out a closet in the hallway while he toiled away. Anyway, he had been quiet for about 15 minutes and I went in to see what he was pondering...he said 'we are going to put the crib on this wall, right? Because I want to paint clouds on the ceiling and paint a little angel over her bed. Babies look up a lot you know when they are trying to fall asleep' I just walked out crying at my fortune to have such a wonderful hubby! He's so excited. There was something really endearing about seeing him stir the 'chamois pink' paint... (Of course I will try to remember this feeling while I am screaming EFF YOU in the delivery room!!!

We picked out the carpet, he put up crown molding, we put up new blinds and I started surfing the net for bed linens. It was so productive! I just want to be HOME to do MORE!!!! )

Oh Jenny .... it sounds like you had a great weekend! That was so sweet of your husband too ... I would have started crying too!

Just think ... only 8 more hours to go and then you can go and do more!

That's so much fun, and very sweet that your DH was so into the nesting thing too. Just keep searching on the internet for baby stuff to make the day go by!
