Don't want to do a first dance

FH and I can't pick a song that we both like for the first dance!!!

We originally wanted 'You and Me' by Dave Matthews Band but I decided it's too awkward to dance to, so we started hunting for another song.

Now we've listened to so many songs, we can't agree on one, and now I'm getting 'stage fright' just thinking about the whole thing! We're more of those rock-back-and-forth kind of dancers, rather than actual skilled slow dancers, so I'm now dreading even doing it.

Help!

just do it for like a minute and then have everyone else join you!

if i were you... just pick a song you can sway to...

dance for 30 seconds and have the dj invite everyone else on the dance floor.

i let dh pick the song. he did a good job. we danced back and forth. it goes fast and they can fade out the song so its shorter if you want

its not that bad

haha welllllllll if everyone else is dancing with their FH's like we're 12, then we can too

dare i relinquish song choice to him and hope for the best???

This is exactly what we did! We danced solo long enough to take some cute pics and for everyone to ooh and ahh and then we had the DJ call all the couples onto the dance floor. It was better that way!
