Don't you hate it when your FI feels the need to 'save face' and act like the last thing he wants to do is get married to his single friends? Right now we are hanging out with three of his single friends and I am trying soooo hard not to tell them how excited he is about the wedding. He keeps cracking jokes about how he was roped inot it and everything... its sooo annoying!

I would get majorly pissed off if he did that to me, with me being right there... he would certainly hear about it later! you should tell him how much it bothers you...
oh he knows... I know he does it to sound tough-- we both know he is a hopeless romantic at heart.
Guys can act pretty silly at times. I don't have that problem because FH's friends are all married or in relationships.
I'm sure that would bother me too. His friends most likely know that he is joking around. Guys tend to act differently around their friends, especially the single ones. I would talk to your FH and explain that this really bothers you. He might not realize that his jokes are really affecting you. I feel pretty lucky that my FH is very into the 'marriage' feel. Then again most of his friends are married or about to be.
