my 8 yr olds father did that at his wedding where my daughter was the flower girl and she just asked me if thats what I was gonna do I was like EW

I wouldn;t say it's tacky, but it's a little risque. I think it depemnds on the attiude brought to it (the music playing) and the attitude of your families and how receptive they'll be!
I don't want anyone's head up my dress at the wedding, even if it IS my DH!

I think its tacky.. my best friends husband did that at their wedding and the reaction from the crowd was far from favorable!
