Don't you wish sometimes

that your wedding was this year instead of next year? I know, it isn't that far away and it will be here before you know it, but i wish it was sooner. I feel like I am ready to be married and I'm just waiting
Maybe it is because we have been engaged for so long, I don't know.

I am just not a patient person.

I hear ya, I wish it was this year too! I mean, I love planning and there's so much to do and I know 06 will be here in no time, but I just wanna be married to my FI already. I'm impatient, I just can't wait!!

ETA: And just last week my FI was saying how he wished it was next May already. That way we'd only have 1 month to go, instead of 13!

I sometimes wish we were getting married this summer too. WE have everything booked, now it's just the little details. Then again, at least with a year to go we can save some $.

I was JUST saying that to my FI today. I said i wish the wedding was this July and not next. I just wanna marry him already

Sometimes... and sometimes I wish it was further away. Not because I don't want to get married, but because I want to save more $$!! I am jut trying to take it day by day.

Sometimes I feel like a year isn't so long, but other times I think it will never get here!

YES!! I have joked with friends that I should just book it for this year and tell FH that we're going to have a dry-run, and have him be at the church (in tux) on that date and time! But I know it's better we do it next year, for money reasons!

Honestly, No I dont......(sorry)
Next yr is perfect time and I will be ready.
Right now I wouldnt even be able to afford all the stuff that Im getting.

I also have been engaged since Feb 04...long time but its working out well...the long engagement.

I do but I don't .....We only have a few more things to do and 95% of all our big stuff is booked ...so on that end of it I do cause I want to see it all come together

But then again I don't cause it all goes by so fast I like know that I have more time to make sure that I get every little detail taken care of just the way that I want it and I don't have to settle cause I have the time -

Yes...mostly because I hate having to wait to plan everything (sending out std cards, settling on a BM's dress, our registry etc...) I feel like all this stuff can wait...that there is so much time to do it all...I want everything done now and to start working on the next phase of our lives...

i do wish i was getting married this year. i would be done already. when i got engaged and i told my mom the date she thought it was feb of 05 she was so excited. but then i said no feb 06. she was like why not this year. and i said if you would like to pay for all of it then we will do it feb of 05. all i heard was silence after that.
