dortoni's bakery

hi for those who used (or RH used) dortonis bakery, what flavor/ filling/ topping would you recommend? Am I able to go there for a tasting?? tia!

ANY FLAVOR!! That is the best bakery. I wish my RH used them. Just go and buy a cake there. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I also would choose anything--that place is amazing..I think if you call up and ask for a taste test, they will do it--I plan on doing it, but FH doesn't know that it is really for his grooms cake

they are fabulous... speak with Janice, she is the head baker at La Bonne Boulagerie (which is the sister bakery, that they make all their wedding cakes out of)

I agree with the other ladies..its the besttttttt bakery!!! I'm getting the grooms cake from them and my family gets all of our occasion cakes from them as well. I'm partial to the cannoli filling too! lol

We used to use they for offic eb-days at my old job..LOOVE their cakes!!

We got strawberries with whip cream mostly.

You can just go buy a few cakes and do your own tasting. Lemme know if you need help

dortonis is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! our cake was yellow cake w/ vanilla creme & banana custurd(the creme's/custurds may have been reversed?? but i know it was vanilla & banana lol)...now - i am SOOO not a banana person - DH wanted it & i figured why not since we had a whole viennese...but let me tell you - IT WAS THE MOST DELICIOUS CAKE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIIIIIFE!!!! i could not WAIT to have in again for our 1year...(and it was still so yummy just like i remembered!). I also had buttercream for the icing...their buttercreme is really nice & really light...not heavy like the usual...mmm yum yum yum! here's a pic
