So, I've been getting some gifts sent in the mail for my engagement party, and I am now the proud owner of not just one, but TWO toasters.
yeah.
So, I don't know which one to return. One is the one I registered for, and one is just a random one (because apparently my nutty great aunt went and 'couldn't find anything on the registry' and just randomly opted for a toaster. Whatever.
Anyway. I know nothing about toasters or kitchen appliances or anything. I can return either one without a problem, and they were the same price, so that doesn't help me decide. So, please take a look at these babies and tell me which one you think is better: toaster number 1 or toaster number 2

my engagement party is saturday.
I registered because my mom thought I should, basically. She said that people would want to give gifts, and if I register then at least I'll get things I really want and need, not just random stuff. I think a lot of her friends were asking where/if I was registered.
I know a lot of people think it's too early to register, but whatever. My mom was definitely right - a LOT of stuff has been bought off of my registry. I'm really glad I registered.

are they the same size? i like the cuisinart one, but i would pick the smaller one, just because i don't have a ton of counter space

we have the cuisinart one and love it!!! cusinart is a great brand... dont know much about Krups, except that they make coffee... if you are really stuck, check out eopinions.com or something to see which was rated better...

Go with number one...it has a convection oven and if you can fit a roast beef in it, they cook in half the time because the air gets circulated. I am sorry that I didn't buy one with the convection part.

#2-it toasts six slices at once as opposed to #1-which toats 4 at once. Plus #2 has a 3 year warranty and looks nicer.

i dont' like dials, not for any particular reason, so I'd go with #1.

go w/ #1- heats up 2 500 in 5 min- thats great-u dont have 2 turn on stove when its hot to cook dinner- i use mine all the time like that for steaks,chicken,wtc

I had #1 and gave it to my mom then got #2 for me. So my vote is definitely for #2
