did you register for the same item at more than one store ? for example the toaster , crockpot and a few other items are identical on our registry should i not do that ?

Why would you register double? You'll wind up with 2 toasters, 2 coffee makers and wind up having to return at least 1.

i didnt mean to put them on there as doubles just realized it wasnt sure if i should to increase chances of gettin it

You'll probably get your items that you want. If not, after the wedding you can use whatever money or gift cards you have left over with that store and purchase that particular item. I wouldn't register for the same item in 2 different stores, but that's JMO. HTH!

I did that with my china-- I checked it often-- so if the pieces i needed were purchased I would then remove the rest from the other store. It worked out well since people purchased from both stores-- but noone over bought.
It's a risky thing to do with items that you just want one of.
