Okay... seriously... who here doubted their dress? My mom keeps asking me if I'm sure this is the one? MY MOH says she loves it... my friends say they love it... ME? not so sure. Of course, I already put the deposit on it... I THINK I love it. But, who knows since I still want to lose weight before the Big Day, so it will look different anyway? I really don't like how I look in ANYTHING right now... much less my wedding dress! That's why I first am marrying my elliptical trainer and Weight Watchers before I marry my fiance! lol... Anyway, I HAVE to decide for sure now, because they need a hollow to hem measurement and the dress is made especially FOR me. Once you realize the guy is THE ONE, how do you know if the dress is?

I tried on about 40 dresses, I kind of liked them all, but when I put on the one I wound up ordering I LOVED it. I was worried, too because I felt like they were all 'just OK.. I liked them' but when I put that one on I LOVED it. It was just ME. I guess it was the same with my FH. LOL.

I've heard a lot of people doubting dresses, it's normal. But I think when you find the one I think you just get a great feeling from it, so if you're REALLY doubting , keep looking!! XOXOXO Kitty

Me, me, me!!!! I ordered it a year ago and have my first fitting in 2 weeks. I tried on my dress when it came in and I felt like a big fat blob in it. I'm hoping I fall back in love with it at my first fitting! Regardless, I'm wearing it b/c I spent way too much $$ on it!
Do NOT worry, many brides feel like this. I remember when I put mine on and knew it was the one the first time....I'm sure yours is too.

If you haven't ordered your dress yet, maybe you should keep looking? Actually, if YOU like it, then go with it and don't let anyone else sway you. But if YOU are having doubts on your own keep trying on more dresses. I tried on SO many and was about to give up and pick one of the 'I guess it's okay' dresses when I finally found a 'oooOOooooh-I kind of like this one' dress.

I really had buyers remorse. I still get my doubts, so i carry a picture of me in the dress with me. when I had it on I felt just perfect, but then i forget it and when I am looking through mags (something you cannot do when you already bought your dress) I start to wonder, is the back too high, is the material not good, etc. I think when you feel soooo good in the dress and then they take it away and you can't see it for months, then you lose the feeling and doubt comes in. When you see it again, you will know why you put the deposit on it.

Thanks... I do feel better. The first time I tried it on, I had such a bad experience concerning other things, that I never got that 'ooh - I'm a bride!' or 'ooh - this is my wedding dress' feeling that I always thought I'd get since I was distracted by other crap. So, since I wasn't a happy camper AT Macy's trying it on, I couldn't get a 'FEELING' for it. Then when I went to try it back on this past weekend, they sent it out to another store, so I still couldn't feel if it was THE ONE! I'm going back next weekend (they're getting the dress back for me), so I should know. But, if you already put a deposit on it, can change your mind and get another dress? I don't know how that works... But I really DO think I love this dress, maybe. lol. 'Buyer's remorse'... that's exactly what I have. Plus, my mother keeps saying how I shouldn't have bought a dress my first time out looking... what if another one is 'out there?' Sorry... I'm just venting...

I was starting to doubt my dress as being the absolute one, I still liked it and everything, but I got to thinking is there really a dress out there that screams ME!!! Well, I got the chance to find another dress because they decided to tell me a 3 months after I ordered my dress that it was discontinued and would not be made. So it was a blessing indisguise and I found a fabulous dress that I know is absolutely perfect for me. It's horrible though when all the new lines come out because there are so many more options to choose from...

I doubted my dress many times.... I think it is normal....
Just wait until it comes in and you try it on for the first time.... I had all of my accessories with me and the look totally came together and I was happy in the end.

I doubted my dress form the day I bought it. I am always doing things like taht, decision is not my friend! I am a 2 dress bride, and I am not ashamed to admit it! Now that I am EXSTATIC with my dress, all other decisions are so easy to make, and I am so excited to make them! That's how I feel like its 'the one'. It gets you excited to plan. I think of it every morning, as soon as I wake up!

i doubt my dress also...i dont think i even like it..and i have been having feelings of anxiety over all of this but now i see i am not the only one...i feel like trying more dresses...what a crime ...or not??

I am doubting my dress right now....I ordered it really early because I really liked the uniqueness of it, but now I want a more traditional and satin gown. I luckily put down a transferable deposit, in case I changed my mind, so now I'm on the search for a more traditional gown. But good luck...I think it's normal to have doubts as well. If you really are doubting it maybe you can transfer your deposit, if they let you do that.

Call your store...ask...my store does let us do that, but I asked and made sure prior to ordering it and they made note of that on my receipt.

you know why this happens??? because there are so many to pick from... I feel like this every now and then and then I think of how my mother's face looked when I had it on and I know I made the right choice.:
