Doubts about my dress....

Doubts about my dress....

OKay, so I went for my first fitting the other day. I LOVE my dress. But...I have a lot of toruble wearing strapless dresses, so my mom and I opted for cap sleeves to be added. At the fitting we took a look at what the cap sleeves would look like, but now I'm not so sure I love the look. I feel like they look very young...

What should I do?? What do you girls think of cap sleeves on bridal gowns?

It's not my style, but I do love the way it looks

My Dress comes with Cap sleeves, but I am having them removed.

I can FM you a pic if you want

SweetCin704 wore cap sleeves at her wedding, but I know they bothered her and she ended up taking them off after their first dance.

You can look in her review, she's got a lot of pics in there!!

I personally would go srapless. I am a bit chesty, and the cap sleves looked weird on my larger upper body. Don't make yourself crazy, even if you don't like the caps you can have them removed.

I love cap sleeves. I am the same when it comes to strapless. My dress had come with spaghetti straps, but if it didn't, I would go with cap sleeves. My cousin jut got married and had cap sleeves added. It looked great. I think you will be fine.

My dress is a halter top, cause I'm busty too

Re: Doubts about my dress....

Personally, I don't like the way they look. I am busty and I think they make me look bustier.

Also, while looking for dresses I saw a few girls trying to see what cap sleeves would look like on their dresses, and I always ended up not liking the cap sleeves.

Pics of the dress?

Could you put straps on instead of the cap sleeves? Are they your only option?

Personally I am not a fan of cap sleeves. I opted for a strapless and I have like no chest , when I tried on dresses with cap sleeves, they just accentuated my arms.

If they add them and you hate them, they can always be removed. I think you need to try it on to see. Don't doubt the dress!!!

I love them! My SIL had cap sleeves.

ETA: This dress could have been worn strapless as well

You'll never know til you give it a shot. Try it out and see!
Cap sleeves are cute and a nice alternative to strapless. I may do them myself!

Try them. It dosen't hurt. And if you really don't liek them they can take them off. It's not a huge alteration.

Re: Doubts about my dress....

I don't think they look young. Some of my favorite styles are with cap sleeves, but I opted for long sleeves because I have broad shoulders and the caps make me look bulky. As long as they're comfortable on you, go for them!
