We did it and used Macy at White Wings NY (a vendor here). She is GREAT and we got beautiful pics. We released 2 to symbolize us, then 10 to symbolize our guests, family, and friends following us on our journey. Macy actually did the reading. My church allowed nothing to be thrown, such as rice or petals, so this worked out perfect. Contrary to what you've heard, the doves DO return back home; Macy trains them! And they don't...um....poop (!) because she feeds them after the release! I have better pics home but here are some.
