I asked my close friend to do the reading at the church. She lives in canada and she was coming home for 3 weeks for xmas and the wedding. I spoke to her on the phone yesterday and we were going over the readings than about an hour later shes calling me in tears because her sister got engaged and they are getting married---on DEC 27, my date. Seriously? did her mom not know that she had my wedding? They asked everyone except my friend what date would work for them and thats the date they picked? It makes me mad because I could have done my wedding on Dec 12. but didnt because I knew she had her husbands sisters wedding that date. Im really annoyed and upset. Ive known this girl since middle school. So now I am back to square one with NO readers.

\ I totally could but I kind of wanted to give friends who werent involved in the wedding parts-im just having moh (my sister) and bm. I think im more annoyed at her mother. the whole time she was here to visit (the past 2 times) her mother didnt want her to see her friends and jsut wanted to spend time with her family. Like she would invite me over but than cancel bc her mom just wanted it to be family. I thought it was rude. This is the same woman who when we went over her house after school only was allowed to make one phone call.
